Barbara Burr 1991
Barbara Burr has been part of Burr Business Service since 1991 and has earned her EA designation, Certificate of Enrollment to practice before the Internal Revenue Service. She looks forward to helping you with all your bookkeeping and tax needs. Barbara has earned degrees in Accounting, Food Service and Hotel Management. She was awarded an Honorable Discharge in 1988 for eight years of service in the United States Army National Guard. Barbara was a member of the local Foster Care Review Board, a member of the Judicial Nomination Commission for the Juvenile Court of Lancaster County, a member of the Nebraska Society of Independent Accountants, the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and the Nebraska Society of Tax Practitioners. She has four great kids and many other pets including cats, dogs and chickens.
Jill S 2018
Jill Graduated from College of Saint Mary with a degree in Business Administration with a focus on accounting. Jill is in the main payroll position. Jill is very active in her community, family, church mission team and pantry.
Chananne S 2020
Chananne works on a variety of tasks, embracing a new challenge and striving to get the job done right. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading good books and taking vacations.
Chris G 2023
Chris has been with Burr Business Service for 2 years in November. She comes to us from a background of working for both nonprofit and for-profit companies. She does a variety of tasks at the office as well as answering phones when needed. She enjoys spending time with her 3 children and 2 dogs. Chris also enjoys doing craft projects of all kinds when she isn’t working.
Carrie R 2025
With over 25 years of experience in customer service and business support roles, Carrie R. brings a rare blend of professionalism, warmth, and reliability to Burr Business Service. She is often the first point of connection for clients—welcoming each person with genuine kindness, answering questions, and ensuring communication flows smoothly throughout the office. Carrie assists with a wide range of services, including assistance and support in tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, and administrative support.
Carrie values strong relationships, integrity, and compassion—qualities that shape her work every day. She believes that excellent service begins with connection, and she takes pride in creating a positive atmosphere for everyone who walks through the door.
When she’s not at Burr Business Service, Carrie cherishes time with her family. She is the proud mother of two daughters who mean the world to her, and she absolutely adores her grandchildren.

Mary Burr 2010
For those of you that knew Mary Burr she was one of a kind. She taught those who knew her all kinds of things. The best there was. Mary Burr was the founder of Burr Business Service many years ago and we all strive to keep the tradition alive. Service, education, honor, character and value.
Connie Swenson 2014
Connie Swenson has been with Burr Business Service since 1998. She has many years of business experience including organization and management skills. Connie and husband Joe have two children and three grandchildren.
Charlene Luethje 2018
Charlene Luethje has been at Burr Business Service since 2004. She has a degree from Doane College in Business Administration. She also has significant experience and education in Income Tax Preparation for Individuals and Small Businesses. Charlene served seven plus years in the United States Army and received an Honorable Discharge in 1990. She and her husband, John ,have three grown children, one grandson and two son-in-laws. Charlene volunteers at the Sunken Gardens and is a “Master Gardner.”
Andrea Heusman 2022
Andrea Heusman joined the staff at Burr Business Service in October 2009. Andrea has a business background and extensive knowledge of Quickbooks and payroll. She is married and has three wonderful children. Andrea is very active in her community.
Lauri Reinhardt 2023
Lauri Reinhardt has been with Burr Business Service since July of 2013. Lauri works on bookkeeping accounts, assists Barbara with special projects and works on year-end reporting tasks. You might also hear Lauri answering the phone now and then. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and pets.
Lisa W 2026
Lisa has been with us since June 2013. She has decided to take a step back and will be working on a part-time basis taking on a different role. Since she has been here the longest she has a vast array of knowledge and is always willing to help and answer any questions that you might have. Lisa and her husband, Owen, have one daughter, one granddaughter and a grand dog. They enjoy hiking and spending time in the mountains and look forward to traveling in their retirement.
